Peter is a skilled and experienced trainer in Child and Adolescent Mental Health issues, Family and relationship difficulties and Systemic therapeutic responses.
He is a confident trainer with a good professional grasp of his subjects. He trains in an engaging and stimulating way using a range of approaches and methods.
He currently works for The Institute of Family Therapy helping to deliver their Agency Based Training Programme. He also tutored their satellite Introductory Course in Leicester for 2 years.
In CAMHS he has helped to deliver the county wide training for foster carers in Staffordshire and led the design, delivery and evaluation of a wide ranging programme for workers in Primary Care in Leicestershire.
As a member of the Area Child Protection Committee (Safeguarding Board) in Northamptonshire he led the deliver of training about sexual abuse and inappropriate sexual behaviours in children and young people. He also led the training programme for the NSPCC Post Sexual Abuse Group Work programme in Northamptonshire.
